Bio: I have been lucky enough to have a couple careers in my lifetime and continue to learn and evolve. I became an involved volunteer at St. Rose of Lima School in 2003 when my oldest son, Kadin (graduating high school this year!) started St. Rose School in Kindergarten. At the time I was working as a supervisor for a family services company working with at risk children involved with Children and Youth and Juvenile Probation. In 2007 my husband received the miracle of a heart/double lung transplant at Johns Hopkins and I took a leave of absence to be with him and my children. The support we received from the school and families was tremendous! We are very blessed that he is healthy and well almost 8 years later. I made the difficult decision to quick my job as a therapist of 15 years and to gain education to work with computers. After graduating from Computer Training and getting my Microsoft certifications, I was hired by St. Rose to coordinate their technology department. Our program has grown tremendously and I love my job. My younger son, Riley, attended St. Rose since preschool and is currently a 7th grader at York Catholic. Our family also has two quirky and loving long haired dachshunds that we adore.
A few of my favorite things…
