| 6 First Grade Special Person Lunch
Each first grader is welcome to invite a special person of their choice outside to eat lunch with them that day. Lunch will be served outside, please dress accordingly. Give Local York
Saint Rose will be teaming up with Give Local York. This is a big day for us and we encourage everyone to share this event with everyone! "Give where you live" is the motto adopted by Give Local York and last year they raised $3.5 million for over 300 local nonprofits. During this 24 hour event, we will be asking for people in and outside our community to donate to our wonderful school. YC students who are instrumentalists need to play at least at an intermediate level. Students who are new to York Catholic need to audition in person or provide an audition recording. The audition will require the student to play two different scales of their choice and a selection from a private lesson piece or concert piece.
In-person auditions dates are Friday, May 13th, from 3:15 PM to 6:30 PM and Saturday, May 14th, from 8:00 AM to 12:00 PM
