Welcome to another great school year!
We are very excited for 2019-2020 to begin as we will begin executing Phase 2 of Project BLUE:
Phase 1 launched our strategic direction for the next 3 years and incorporated rolling out our new logo and school uniforms. Phase 2 will not only include building enhancements such as the new roof and parking lot, but also educational enhancements within our Language Arts Curriculum. We will be incorporating Fountas & Pinnell and the Collins Writing Program schoolwide and anticipate exceptional results from both our teachers and students.
One of the things that makes our school unique is our mission to serve. Following the guidance of the Sisters of St. Joseph, who established our school in 1919, we serve the York and parish community in many ways. I am so proud of our students and faculty for leading collections for the Catholic Harvest Food Pantry and the Women’s Care Center, sorting potatoes for Lifepath Ministries, and serving our veterans each and every year.
As I start my 12th year as Principal of St. Rose Elementary, I am thrilled at the progress our students, faculty and families have made in enriching lives and am thankful to be a part of the crusade.
