The Saint Rose Foundation Fund

" The Saint Rose Annual Fund helps preserve the heart of Saint Rose of Lima Elementary by supporting financial aid, tuition assistance, and the dynamic day-to-day operations that make our school special. Through the generosity of our parents, alumni, grandparents, parishioners, faculty, staff, friends, and corporate partners, Saint Rose of Lima provides a quality Catholic education to every student who walks through our doors. "

Your gift to the Annual Fund aids in:

  • Bridging the Tuition Gap: Helps to cover the difference between the standard tuition and the true cost to educate each student.

  • Supporting Families: Providing vital tuition assistance and financial aid to those in need.

  • Empowering Student Life: Funding interactive instructional technology, hands-on field trips, extracurricular clubs, beloved school events, and day-to-day operations.

Frequently Asked Questions
  • Are there other ways to support besides financial donations?

Absolutely!  We would first encourage you to check out our EITC guide, found at the bottom of this page.

Besides that, the school is always in need of basic day-to-day items, cleaning supplies, old uniforms, old toys, etc.

We also are always in need of volunteers. Whether it be for events or just helping teachers with copies and running a classroom project.

Lastly, we kindly ask that you consider your network and networking opportunities for the school. While you may not be able to directly contribute monetarily, putting us in touch with other businesses and business owners that may be interested in supporting Catholic Education is a great help.

  • What events does the school have that we can support?

Every year the school holds an annual GALA that is our biggest fundraiser for family and business participation. We also will run various school nights at different restaurant locations throughout the year which you may find on our calendar. We also will hold an annual purse bingo every year that is a popular event!

  • What is EITC & how does it work?

EITC short for Educational Improvement Tax Credit is a program that allows individuals and businesses to direct their PA state income taxes to students instead of sending those tax dollars to Harrisburg.

While it can feel like an overwhelming program, the setup and getting started is actually quite simple. If you are interested in this program, and want your tax dollars to be diverted to the school instead of other government entities; please reach out to us with any questions or help getting started today!

You will also find a button located at the bottom of this page that includes a short guide regarding EITC and explaining it further.

  • How do I become a volunteer?

Saint Rose of Lima encourages parents and grandparents to volunteer!

Our volunteers can help in various ways throughout our building, helping at lunch and recess, assisting teachers in the classroom, and other ways.

All volunteers must go through the Diocesan process established for youth protection. Please use the link below to access the information needed to obtain your badge:  here

  • Company Matching

Many companies offer employees matching gift benefits that, in most cases, double your gift to Saint Rose of Lima. To learn if your employer will match any gifts to the school, please reach out to your specific HR director for more information. We thank you for this consideration.

" We kindly request that if you or someone you know would be a good networking partner for the school to know and work with, please submit them down below. We thank you for helping us expand our network and opportunities to grow! "
