Robert High

Thank you for taking the time to read my biography first and foremost. The 2022 school year marks my second year here at Saint Rose Elementary. I have a background in IT and Systems Administrator; prior to this I was actually a restaurant owner and can make you an incredible tiramisu! I've grown up in a family based in education, as my aunts and grandparents were teachers and my dad a guidance counselor and administrator. So making a switch to the education field is something I found incredibly natural and I have loved every moment of getting to work with the students and teach them incredibly useful skills for the future in computer and technology.

Favorite things:
*food: Pizza most days, Chicken Satay if I'm feeling more adventurous.
*drink: Water mostly, diet decaf orange tea from Turkey Hill is my guilty pleasure.
*movie: Trolls 1 & 2; incredible sound tracks and animation!
*color: Maroon
*book: A Song of Ice and Fire
*sports team: Eagles, GO BIRDS!
*hobbies: Playing video games is how I occupy a large swath of my free time. I love playing Minecraft above all else, but can have fun with any Nintendo Exclusive!

Besides teaching technology I am also responsible for monitoring all software, hardware, network, and various other aspects of technology in the school. My number one priority besides preparing students for the next step in their education is keeping them safe and protected on the internet and within their computers during their time here with us.
