Free Ice Cream
Thanks to the St. Rose of Lima Council of the Knights of Columbus, all students are being treated to free ice cream! The Knights of Columbus are actively involved in our school community as volunteers. They organize the Basketball Shoot-Out and generously offer their time and talents to help with projects around our school.We are truly blessed to have them as partners and are grateful for their continued support of our students and school.
Field Trip to the Appell Center
On Wednesday, March 18, our students in grades K–2 will take a field trip to the Appell Center to see Stone Soup … and Other Stories. Based on the book by Ruth Foster and Carole Wechter, Stone Soup … and Other Stories is a charming, well-seasoned blend of folktales from around the world. The performance serves as an excellent springboard for reading, reading-related activities, and exploring multicultural themes.
The Mother/Son Night is Coming!
The Mom/Son night is at Titanium Athletics in Glen Rock on Friday, March 27, 2026 from 6:00 PM - 8:30 PM. Tickets are $16 per person. To purchase tickets contact Molly Raetz at the School Office by calling 717-792-0889 or by scanning the QR code on the flyer attached to this update. Hope to see you there!!
Baby Bottle Collection
Once again, St. Rose of Lima is partnering with the Women’s Care Center of York. Each student at St. Rose will receive one baby bottle. We are asking each student to fill that baby bottle with coins to help support the mission of the Women’s Care Center of York. Students may obtain additional baby bottles through the Main Office. Last day to turn in Baby Bottles is Friday, March 27, 2026!
Registration and Simple Tuition Solutions
Registration for new and current families is happening now! Spots are filling up quickly! All families at St Rose of Lima are required to file for financial assistance, work with our EITC program, or both in order to receive ANY discounts in tuition. Our school code is 20621. The financial aid link for the 2026-2027 school year through Simple Tuition Solutions opened for parents on February 2, 2026. ALL FAMILIES MUST COMPLETE THEIR APPLICATION FOR FINANCIAL ASSISTANCE BY MARCH 31, 2026 IN ORDER TO BE CONSIDERED FOR ANY DISCOUNTS.
April 1 - Summer Uniforms Begin
Our handbook states that we are in winter uniform until April 1, 2026. That is our first day of Easter Break, so summer uniforms will begin when we return from break on April 7, 2026.
Prismatic Magic
On Thursday, March 19, Prismatic Magic will be on campus to perform their Spring Jam laser light show for all students. Spring Jam is a celebration of lasers, music, and motion. Packed with laser animations of outdoor activities like baseball, swimming, and surfing, set to a soundtrack of energetic pop and rock music that encourages singing along. Spring Jam aims to promote physical fitness and exercise by captivating children with stunning visuals and upbeat tunes throughout the show.
St Patrick’s Day Dress Down Day
Get ready to celebrate! On Tuesday, March 17, all students are invited to dress down for St. Patrick’s Day. Wear your Irish green and have fun accessorizing—think hats, beads, socks, and more! Let’s fill the school with lots of green and plenty of St. Patrick’s Day spirit!
